I met with Clare of Sunshine Digital Media for her headshots in Leeds shoot last month and I have to admit I completely forgot to blog about it…

Clare needed images for social media and her website and wanted to include sunflowers as they have a very special meaning to her.

Leeds is a really great location for headshots and Brand photos. There are so many choices for backdrops, including some of these:

Granary Wharfe – By the canal
Leeds Dock – By the river and bright coloured funky buildings
The Market – there are some beautiful colourful murals.
The Playhouse – there’s a area behind the playhouse with manicured gardens but inside the playhouse could work too if the weather is changeable.
Leeds Townhall – great for urban images
Queens Hotel – their refurbished entrance hall and café is very pretty.

The great news is that I’ve already seen her photos being used all over social media. Once you’ve had photos done its sometimes a bit overwhelming knowing how you should use the images.
