I’m a Yorkshire-based brand photographer with 18 years of experience—and I know firsthand how challenging it can be to put yourself out there.
Whether it’s self-doubt, feeling a little out of your comfort zone, or just not knowing how to show up in a way that feels right—I’ve seen it all. And more importantly? I know exactly how to guide you through it.
Because here’s the thing: professional photos aren’t just about looking polished. They should feel like you. The version of you that’s confident, successful, and completely at home in your business.
That’s why every shoot I create is designed to give you images (and videos) you’ll actually want to share—capturing your presence, your personality, and the way you connect with your clients.
And through it all? I’ll be there, making sure you feel comfortable, coaching you through every step, and cheering you on from behind the camera.
I’ve always been super creative, whether it was writing & publishing cookbooks or painting; I just love to make things. And I always knew that I should be doing something creative (not the insurance job I started in).
So when my husband Andrew bought me my first DSLR camera back in 2006 – little did he know what he had started.
At first it was just families and kids but then…
After years of doing family photos, I married Andrew in 2011.
And we had a terrible experience with our wedding photos. I didn’t want anyone to have the same experience we had!
I took a huge leap and started to offer Wedding Photography. It was intense and exhausting and wonderful.
By this point I was still working as a Corporate Insurance Broker but after a year where I did 30 weddings and had started to offer branding shoots (and still worked full time). Something had to give.
So I quit my job, and a month later I was newly self employed.
I completely stopped offering weddings and family photography and concentrated exclusively on Brand Photography.
Since then I’ve worked with hundreds of businesses every year to help them get just a little bit closer to achieving their business goals through beautiful branding photography, video’s and websites.
I’m celebrating 10 years of The Branding Photographer and I’ve got lots of exciting things planned. Including my own Natural light Branding Photography Studio in my home town of Ossett.
