The first brand photoshoot in my new studio was such an exciting moment—not just for me, but for my client, Denny Davis, too.
Denny’s starting a new chapter in her business, so it felt fitting that we got to kick things off together in my brand-new space.
We planned everything in advance, starting with a Pinterest board packed with ideas to capture the look and feel she wanted. From there, we picked out outfits that felt true to her and decided on props that would add that extra spark of personality. By the time the shoot rolled around, we had everything ready to go—and I couldn’t wait to bring it all to life in the studio.
Denny wanted her shoot to feel calm, elegant, and modern—and I think we nailed it! We went for a minimal, chic vibe with a soft, neutral colour palette that felt clean and sophisticated. Her poses were relaxed but still professional, with little touches like her notebook and laptop to show her business side.
It was important to bring in elements that felt personal to Denny, like her jewellery and wellness items, which added a thoughtful, intentional feel to the photos. Combined with the soft textures and beautiful natural light in the studio, the whole shoot had this warm, welcoming energy that perfectly reflected her brand.
