As a brand photographer based in beautiful Yorkshire (but working across the UK), I’ve worked closely with 100’s of female business owners in the last 7 years, helping them bring their brand’s story to life.

Experience
I photograph on average 120 business women every single year.
I know what makes a great photoshoot experience and I know that it’s not just about the camera.
You have to assume that if someone is a professional photographer that they have a certain level of expertise. But for me it’s about more than taking a good photo. I can do that.

Whether it’s in a fancy house, a field of poppies, a fancy restaurant – there are honestly so many places we can do the shoots.

Planning
I know that the key to successful photoshoot is the planning bit.
When photos don’t turn out how you wanted them, it’s usually because they haven’t been planned well enough.
We plan for:
- what you’re going to wear
- which props will work for you
- the perfect location
- what type of photos you need
- what’s happening in your business and how we can showcase that?
And once all this is planned, you can sit back and enjoy the shoot!
Safe space
It’s important that you feel completely comfortable at the Shoot.
Ive worked with a diverse range of people with different needs, hang ups, mental health issues and medical needs. We plan the shoot around YOU and what will work for you.

Even when someone thinks that they are un-photogenic we still manage to get great photos.
In fact, I always say that I don’t believe that anyone is truly un-photogenic. Everyone can look bad in the wrong light, at an unflattering angle or when they’re just not ready.
