Women are amazing…we spend years doing our best juggling act. Managing family, relationships, career, health issues, friendships, money, house moves, pets…
And when we’re 40+ (ok, 50 for me this year😯) we’re also trying our best to navigate the never ending symptoms of the perimenopause. Which can really affect our Confidence in Perimenopause!
A time of change
It’s at this time in our lives that things can start to change.
- Relationships changing…and ending.
- Maybe older parents needing more care…and then the grief.
- Trying to support teenagers with hormones more haywire than yours…and then the ‘empty nest’.
- A career that you’ve loved your whole life…that no longer sparks joy.
It can be such a time of immense change and that’s unsettling. Let’s face it, not many of us think we are great at dealing with change.
As a Menopause Wellness Coach, I have the privilege of working with women to show them how they can reclaim their lives, their health and their confidence. And in all those challenges and uncertainties, one thing becomes crystal clear: it’s time to put ourselves first.
This time in your life is a time of self-discovery and empowerment. A time to be unapologetically YOU.

Top Tips for Confidence in Perimenopause
So here are some tips for regaining your Confidence in Perimenopause as a 40+ woman:
Find a supportive community of like-minded women who will uplift and empower you through shared experiences and encouragement.
- Sometimes it’s easier to keep ‘staying small’ and telling yourself it’s too late to change. But try to challenge your limiting beliefs and negative self-talk. You ARE worthy and you ARE capable.
- Set goals and celebrate your progress, even if it’s just a small step.
- Invest in your health and your personal development – find workshops and courses to safeguard your future or expand your skills and knowledge.
- And…consider some fabulous professional photography sessions to visually communicate your story and identity – and to capture that newfound confidence!

Dealing with change
