So what can you achieve in just one hour of a Branding Day?
In case you missed the memo, Branding Days are the days when I transform into a photography wizard and whisk you away to a gorgeous house where the lighting is perfect, the furniture is Instagram-worthy, and you can relax without the fear of your own house playing peekaboo in the background (or requiring an interior designer rescue mission).
Plus, you get a full hour of glam with a makeup artist, an hour of photography, and my undeniable Yorkshire charm!
Now, you might be wondering, “What can we possibly squeeze into just one hour?” Well, let me help you with that:
1. Start with a Grand Plan
Think of each room as a stage for a mini-story of your life and business. It’s your moment to shine! For instance:
- Kitchen: Sip a cuppa, chop some veggies, read a book like the scholarly entrepreneur you are, or have a chat with your BFF.
- Living Room: Dive into a good book, flip through a magazine with style, work on your laptop in a cozy sweater, and take your brand to new heights.
- Bedroom: Get ready for the day like a boss, strike a pose with some yoga moves, and dive into another captivating book (yes, you’re that cool). Maybe sit on the bed with a cuppa in your fanciest dressing gown.
- The Gym: Get your exercise groove on, unleash your inner yogi, browse a fitness mag, and show off your post-workout glow.
- Outside: Leave your house like you’re off to a big meeting, enjoy a glass of wine on the patio, go for a pretend run, and flaunt your latest killer outfit. š
Pro tip: Make your wardrobe versatile ā mix and match to rock different rooms. Throw on a jacket or cardigan for quick outfit transformations (or just because you’re fabulous like that).
2. Let’s Talk Props
Props, lovely people, are the secret to making your shoot pop!
While you’re having a blast in the fabulous kitchen or any other room, consider what you might need:
- Fancy mug for that morning coffee ritual?
- Trusty laptop for the work stuff?
- A captivating book in the bedroom?
- Imaginary gardening with garden tools?
- A fancy bottle of champagne for that celebration or milestone?
Remember, you’ll need to bring these props along, so put on your planning cap and make a list. š And if you need some help have a look at my PROP SHOP.
3. Embrace the Art of Planning
Now, I get it, not everyone is a natural planner (I’m more of a “go with the flow” type myself), but a bit of pre-shoot planning goes a long way.
These shoots work best when you’ve thought about the types of photos you need, your outfit choices, and your props.
That’s why, once you’ve booked your shoot, we’ll have a catch-up session to ensure everything is in place.
Because when the creativity meets the plan, that’s where the magic truly unfolds!
The next Branding Day is in November 2024. Don’t miss your chance to join the fun and let me capture the essence of your business! ššø
