Next week is the monthly Visibility School photoshoots, so I’m sharing 10 Brilliant Prop Ideas for Visibility School (plus they’d work for any other type of photoshoot too).
Hobbies
If you want people to get to know you a little bit more, perhaps you could include your hobbies when you’re thinking about prop ideas.
Plans/Drawings
If you’re an interior designer like Deborah of Zebra Interiors then you’ll often use architect plans and drawings, so it might be good to include them in your photos.
Balloons
If you’re thinking about prop ideas perhaps like Sam who was about to bring out her new book ” The Network Marketing Revolution” – you could include some balloons. Maybe you’ve got a business birthday coming up or even a “big” birthday?
Books
If you’ve written a book then it makes sense to bring a copy along to your shoot. Vivienne Rawnsley The Life Editor had two books to share.
Personalised Mugs
Maybe like Lisa of Thinking Cap you could include something personalised. Lisa runs training on LinkedIn called Lingo.
Confetti
Confetti is pretty versatile for photos. It’s great to create a picture to share a celebration like “5 years in business” or “10 years since you quit full time employment” or to just create a fun image – like this one for Wedding Photographer Hannah Brooke
Quirky props
If there’s something that you’re know for… like Branding expert Clare of Make a Brew we can definitely include it!
