Team Branding Photography for Finance Businesses

We’re looking at Team Branding Photography with Finance businesses this week.

As a finance business, you know the importance of making a good impression on clients and prospects but times have changed.

It’s no longer expected that you have to have the standard white background images. With the stiff suits and awkward smile (or was that just my own headshot when I still worked in Insurance?)

So why settle for just a boring headshot? When you could have a group branding photo that truly showcases your team’s expertise and personality?

It’s time to gather your colleagues, grab some props, and get ready to strike a pose!

Do coordinate your outfits

Let’s be real, you don’t want to look like a group of mismatched bankers in your branding photos. With a couple of people wearing suits, someone in jeans and and everyone else somewhere in between.

Take the time to coordinate your outfits so that you look like a cohesive and professional team. And if you’re not sure what to wear, consider opting for similar styles in your branding colours.

Don’t forget the props

Finance businesses can often be seen as stuffy and boring, but a well-placed prop can help add a little fun and personality to your photos.

Consider incorporating props that reflect your company’s mission and values, or even just simple props such as a calculator, a chart, or a set of coins.

Do show your personalities

Your group branding photos should be a reflection of your team’s personalities, so don’t be afraid to have fun and let your true selves shine through. Whether you’re a group of serious finance experts, or a bunch of playful problem-solvers, your images should reflect your unique brand.

Don’t skimp on the team shots

Sure, individual headshots are important, but don’t forget about the power of group shots. These images can help showcase your team’s collaboration, expertise, and friendly atmosphere, making them a valuable addition to your marketing materials.

Do work with a professional photographer

Come on, you knew I was going to say this!

A good photographer will know how to bring out the best in your team and create images that truly showcase your brand.

And while you may be tempted to take the photos yourself, a professional photographer will have the experience and equipment necessary to create images that truly shine. And if you need some inspiration take a look at my Instagram page where I share recent shoots.

In conclusion, team branding photography is a powerful way to showcase your finance business and its team of experts.

So grab your props, coordinate your outfits, and get ready to show the world what you’re made of!

And when you’re ready, here are three ways that I can help you:

B-roll

Hi There!

Meet Maryanne

I’m a 40 (ahem something…) year old Yorkshire woman.

I’ve been self employed for 10 years (and a photographer for 18) and I totally understand how difficult it is to be visible in business.

Whether that’s because of a lack of self confidence, feeling a bit frumpy or the physical side effects of peri-menopause (hot sweats and forgetfulness anyone) – I promise you I’ve seen it all and still get great photos at every photoshoot.

I honestly feel so honoured when people book me, because they believe that I really want the best outcome for you. There’s no point having a fancy photoshoot if it doesn’t feel authentic to you.

My aim for every shoot is to get photos and video that you actually want to share… and I’ll be there in the side lines cheering you on!
