How to know if you’re ready for a Branding shoot

How to know if you’re ready for a Branding shoot

You’ve seen that other people are having shoots, and you know you need to be more visible (everyone and his lockdown puppy is telling you that you need to BE MORE VISIBLE).

But does that mean it’s the right time for you?

Here are a few reasons why getting some branding photos might be right for you…

You’re launching your new business and you want people to get to know you.

If your business is new, or you’ve just started working for yourself, then NOW is the time to get in front of your ideal clients.

You’re going to need a cohesive visual identity that not only looks good on your website but can also be used for social media too.

A branding shoot so early in the development of your business will give you the edge and people will see that you’re serious about it.

You’ve had a shoot in the past but even you’re fed up of using the same photos.

If you’ve had a shoot before you probably got to a point where you were sick of the site of the same photos. Maybe you had a handful of headshots done, but now you know exactly where your business is heading so it’s time to be specific about what you need from your photos.

You have a new launch coming up.

If you’re about to release a new coaching programme, course or book, then you’re going to be publicising it EVERYWHERE! It will be much easier to promote if you had dedicated images for your landing pages, social media posts and emails.

You know you need to work on your personal brand.

You have an established business, you’re known for what you do because of your great results, but do people know you as a business or the person behind the business?

Personal Branding photos at this point will help people with the ‘know, like and trust’ factor and give you a great reason to be recognised as the expert you are.

It’s something you’ve always wanted but you’ve always found a reason to put it off

There’s always been a reason not to do it. Whether its that you think you’re not photogenic, you feel like you’re carrying a little extra weight or it’s just a scary prospect.

Earlier this year I bet you decided that after the last year of delays and lockdowns, you were going to be more brave. But then the year went by, and you still feel the same.

You want a confidence boost that comes with great photos.

Imagine you’ve just had your hair and make-up professionally done, you’re wearing a new outfit that makes you feel amazing and you’re in a luxury house. You feel fantastic and you’re totally ready for photos.

Then imagine when you get the photos back and you look relaxed and happy and totally every inch the amazing business owner you are… then you share the photos to social media and your website and the new clients get in touch wanting to work with you.

All because you boosted your own confidence with fab branding photos!

And when you’re ready… come say hello!

And when you’re ready, here are three ways that I can help you:

1) Visit my blog for tips on VISIBILITY.

Every week I discuss strategies to improve your visibility, get over your fear of visibility and my latest shoots.  Read here

2) Plan a bespoke photoshoot.

We can plan a shoot based on what you actually need (read more) or you could join me at a Branding Day.

Hi There!

Meet Maryanne

I’m a 40 (ahem something…) year old Yorkshire woman.

I’ve been self employed for 10 years (and a photographer for 18) and I totally understand how difficult it is to be visible in business.

Whether that’s because of a lack of self confidence, feeling a bit frumpy or the physical side effects of peri-menopause (hot sweats and forgetfulness anyone) – I promise you I’ve seen it all and still get great photos at every photoshoot.

I honestly feel so honoured when people book me, because they believe that I really want the best outcome for you. There’s no point having a fancy photoshoot if it doesn’t feel authentic to you.

My aim for every shoot is to get photos and video that you actually want to share… and I’ll be there in the side lines cheering you on!
