The best books to read about Visibility

If you’re anything like me, you have a bit of a guilty pleasure when it comes to a good Business books. Plus who doesn’t want to improve their visibility… its the only way people will know who you are!

So here are a mix of books I’ve read (where I’ve commented) and books I have on never ending list.

Get Visible – Anna Parker Naples

Loved this book. From the start you’re taken through the journey of how Anna became more visible and overcame adversity.

The book tackles issues around identity, confidence, fear of failure and imposter syndrome.

Definitely one to add to your list.

Lets get Visible – Sapna Pieroux

This was one of the first books I read about Visibility and I really enjoyed it. It’s on KindleUnlimited too – so you can get it free. And this totally appeals to my Yorkshire sensibilities…

It provides a clear step by step process on how to build a brand that is true to you.

The Audacity to be Queen – Gina DeVee

I bought this book about a year ago and completely forgot to read it. So not going to comment on it, other than it was recommended by a couple of friends.

Make yourself a little bit famous – Penny Haslam

I read this one a year or so ago but still find myself coming back to it. Its an interesting read and has really simple ways to make yourself more well known in your niche.

They ask you answer, Marcus Sheriden

This book is like my bible for blogging. I recommend it to everyone. Its definitely improved the visibility of my blog enormously. Its American, so it goes on a bit at times, but its easy to read and easy to put into action.

If you’re wanting to improve the visibility of your blog, then get it!!

Worth every penny – Sarah petty

This one is a really easy read and though it’s written by a photographer about Boutique photography businesses, a lot of the suggestions in it would work just as well for any other type of business.

Just brand you

I’m half way through this book and really enjoying it. If you start with “brand – you” then you’re going to nail all the other aspects of your visibility!

Business Visibility – Holly E Worton

This is on my list of books to read. Visibility is so often hampered by your mindset. So this one looks like a good place to start.

I am my brand

This is another one on my list to read.

If you know of any other Visibility or branding books I should read just drop me a message!

Hi There!

Meet Maryanne

I’m a 40 (ahem something…) year old Yorkshire woman.

I’ve been self employed for 10 years (and a photographer for 18) and I totally understand how difficult it is to be visible in business.

Whether that’s because of a lack of self confidence, feeling a bit frumpy or the physical side effects of peri-menopause (hot sweats and forgetfulness anyone) – I promise you I’ve seen it all and still get great photos at every photoshoot.

I honestly feel so honoured when people book me, because they believe that I really want the best outcome for you. There’s no point having a fancy photoshoot if it doesn’t feel authentic to you.

My aim for every shoot is to get photos and video that you actually want to share… and I’ll be there in the side lines cheering you on!
