Who should book the Branding Day shoot?

This month I’m hiring this beautiful house in Leeds for a whole day of photoshoots.

Usually the most difficult thing to decide on, is the location for a shoot. And let’s be honest unless you have a photo worthy house (or the chance of using a friends house), we’re going to end up visiting cafes, bars and restaurants to get some nice surroundings.

Thats why I decided to book whole house for a day. And not just any house:

A neutral decor throughout
A huge bright contemporary kitchen
Enormous living room with really great light.
A stunning entrance way (that I think could double as an office room)
Stunning outdoor area with beautiful Yorkshire Stone.

This house is just so beautiful, and if you just want to let your clients see that you’re a really person, who does normal things then this is the perfect place for you.

Cookbook authors, chefs & food bloggers

You’ve written a fab cookbook and now you need an equally awesome front cover…but your kitchen isn’t exactly insta ready and your house is overrun by kids toys and ironing…

You’re a food blogger and you’ve got stunning photos of your work, but it might be nice to share a little bit more about the behind the scenes work that goes into your blog.

Podcast Hosts

I’m seeing more and more business owners creating new Podcasts and this shoot would be perfect to create your front cover for iTunes, or to publicise it

Virtual Assistants

This house would be great for anyone who works remotely and doesn’t really have the space (or the inclination to clear our all the junk from your office) for a shoot in their home office.

Not only can we get photos of you in a “normal” setting, like making yourself a cuppa or reading a magazine, but we can also mock up a desk with apple laptop.

Entrepreneurs

The house is perfect for everyone really, as its stunning, but all in very neutral colours. It will mean that even if you’re branding isn’t neutral we can introduce some of your brand colours ourselves:

Meet Maryanne

I’m a 40 (ahem something…) year old Yorkshire woman.

I’ve been self employed for 10 years (and a photographer for 18) and I totally understand how difficult it is to be visible in business.

Whether that’s because of a lack of self confidence, feeling a bit frumpy or the physical side effects of peri-menopause (hot sweats and forgetfulness anyone) – I promise you I’ve seen it all and still get great photos at every photoshoot.

I honestly feel so honoured when people book me, because they believe that I really want the best outcome for you. There’s no point having a fancy photoshoot if it doesn’t feel authentic to you.

My aim for every shoot is to get photos and video that you actually want to share… and I’ll be there in the side lines cheering you on!
