Like many of us after becoming a mum, I didn’t have the time or spare finances to invest in fashion and clothing as much as I use to do, lets face it as a mum you struggle to find time to even sleep or wash your hair and I honestly lost my way with what my style was…..professional business woman or mum, and at times I struggled to combine the two.
Additionally, I was really struggling with creating a work / life balance that worked for me as an individual on a professional basis and more importantly for my family. I’d always loved the idea of running my own business, so I decided to follow a dream and create it.
In 2019, I created Thanks Suzanne, an online ladies boutique where I pride myself on offering stylish accessories and clothes to ladies, that make a style statement, but don’t break the bank and have the look and feel of shopping at an exclusive boutique.
The back end of 2019, I re-focused Thanks Suzanne, and wanted to focus on creating a fashion business, that not only focused on style but sustainability. In line with our sustainability ethos we launched Style Swap, clothes swap events for women, allowing ladies to update their wardrobe in an affordable and sustainable manner.
We decided to start working on ideas to create collections that were stylish and sustainable. In 2020, we have been able to launch our sustainable jewellery line.
We design and handmake jewellery out of recycled nespresso coffee pods.
We have big plans for our own sustainable collections, including brand collaborations, new designs, new products.
