“I spent 2.5 year’s of trying not to share photos of myself to promote my business. Then I realised that without them my business was just not able to grow in the way that I wanted. 

Investing in business

I’m someone who hates having their photograph taken. In fact I will pretty much do anything to avoid being in front of the camera. So I knew I was going to struggle and that the key to getting some half decent photographs was finding the right person.

I’d watched Maryanne on social media for a while and her down to earth personality and the different women she was working with, gave me the confidence. Maryanne was the lady for me. 

After a few months of putting it off I finally committed and booked a branding day shoot with Maryanne in a gorgeous house in York. 

I didn’t know what to expect from the day. But from the minute I got there I was put at ease. I spent an hour in the safe hands of hair and make up lady Chrys.

When it came to having my photos taken Maryanne was so kind and patient with me. She teased smiles out of me, reassuring me as we chatted and moved around the property.

It was a lovely relaxed experience and I didn’t feel rushed in anyway.

Maryanne took on board my request for the different kinds of photos I wanted. And her experience and natural ability shone through as she suggested different poses and set ups to suit my brand.

The photos came back quickly and with 180 to choose from I certainly have plenty to be getting on with!

Natural and beautifully shot,the photos are the perfect addition to my marketing. In fact I’ve already seen an improvement in my engagement since I’ve started using them (as well as lots of compliments!).

I will be booking another shoot with Maryanne in the Summer and I know these will be even better than the first. As I will have our past experience to draw on and a more definite idea of what I require.
