How Personal Branding photos save you money

Branding photos save you money

So today I thought I’d share some tangible numbers on how much my clients have saved (and gained) by having a library of branding photos.

Case Study 1.

When a recent client was approached by a magazine to be featured in an article she was able to send in photos of her choosing. So she wasn’t at the mercy of one the their photographers, or their timeframe. (Tip: Sometimes the photographers at smaller magazines are students, so not experts at photographing women.)

She gained time (about 8 hours) because:

  • She didn’t have to travel anywhere for the shoot
  • She didn’t have to miss working on her business
  • She didn’t have to spend time (or money) with a make-up artist/hairdresser
  • she didn’t have prepare for the shoot (buy new clothes, shoes & props).

Personal branding photography is a powerful tool because it can have a substantial impact on your bottom line. It’s all about understanding how to make the most of your images.

Case Study 2.

A product photography client was able to get her lifestyle products into a newspaper just before Christmas.

Magazines and newspapers regularly put together pages where they show off products on a theme.

She increased her profit & saved time (6 hours) because:

  • She had a bank of beautiful images of her products ready to send.
  • She sold more products that year
  • She increased her brand awareness and was able to share that she’d been featured in a national newspaper.

She also didn’t have to spend the time taking her own photos, knowing that it was unlikely that the newspaper would accept low quality photos.

Case Study 3.

A recent Events Managing client actually felt confident enough to put herself forward for articles and interviews. She knew that she had images she was happy to share.

  • Similar to the first Case Study she was able to accept an interview for a magazine because she knew she already had images to go with it.
  • She increased her brand awareness by being featured in The Yorkshire Post.
  • She booked a new “ideal” client as a result!

Case Study 4.

I have a client who used to spend hours taking her own photos for instagram. This lady has 10’s of thousands of followers but just wasn’t feeling the love for it anymore.

So she was procrastinating and taking even longer to take the photos. Having a collection of her own images means:

  • She saved 1 whole day a month.
  • She no longer had to spend countless hours sourcing props.
  • She didn’t have to worry about the time it takes to edit the photos. (6 hours a month)

Case Study 5

One of my clients used to spend hours every month searching for images on Freebie stock photo sites for instagram. She eventually realised that she had to spend money on paid-for stock image sites and we found a way to save her money.

  • We save her time by doing regular shoots (1 every quarter to keep prices down)
  • The images we get cost less than £1 per image (a saving of £1.95 per image).

Hi There!

Meet Maryanne

I’m a 40 (ahem something…) year old Yorkshire woman.

I’ve been self employed for 10 years (and a photographer for 18) and I totally understand how difficult it is to be visible in business.

Whether that’s because of a lack of self confidence, feeling a bit frumpy or the physical side effects of peri-menopause (hot sweats and forgetfulness anyone) – I promise you I’ve seen it all and still get great photos at every photoshoot.

I honestly feel so honoured when people book me, because they believe that I really want the best outcome for you. There’s no point having a fancy photoshoot if it doesn’t feel authentic to you.

My aim for every shoot is to get photos and video that you actually want to share… and I’ll be there in the side lines cheering you on!
