This has honestly got to be the hardest thing about creating a new website. The choice is just immense and whether you go for a free theme or a paid one it often a case of sitting down and trawling through endless lists of sites.
The interesting thing is that generally the first thing you see is the beautiful images. But thats almost the easiest bit of the website…

Structure & theme
Getting the right structure and a theme in your WordPress theme, that can be customised to your brand is so much more important. You can use stock photography for the images to get the right look, but the structure and overall look of the site needs to be highly customisable.
So when I’m looking at creating a new WordPress site though I am happy to create a site with a free WordPress theme (or a theme I already own), because it will keep down costs, my advise it to try CreativeMarket and use one of these WordPress themes for women.
Personally I prefer sites to not look like they’re just a blog. Even if thats the intention as they’re so great for SEO I still want it to look like a website. So we buy one of these themes and then update them with your logo and brand colours and some beautiful images.
